FundingPips Ends PRIME for New Traders: Existing Accounts Keep Their Terms, Breached Traders Skip the Cooldown
FundingPips has discontinued PRIME, its invite-only top tier with daily 80% rewards and scaling to $2M, after a $1.1M+ run across 400 traders. Current PRIME traders keep their terms, breached PRIME traders can restart evaluations with no 21-day cooldown, and FundingPips teased a HOT SEAT return.

What happened
FundingPips is ending PRIME, the top tier it used to move its best Master Account traders onto larger accounts with daily rewards. The firm announced it in a thread on its X account (opens in new tab) on 26 October 2026 at 7:02 PM Israel time: "PRIME is being discontinued."
FundingPips gave its reason as feedback from its community, which it said "wanted more clarity and peace of mind." It gave no other explanation.
This comes a month after FundingPips reworked PRIME for purchases from 28 September. That change ended self-unlock after the third reward and made PRIME invite-only.
Who is affected
According to the thread (opens in new tab):
- Traders already on PRIME: "NOTHING changes. you keep your benefits." Third-party write-ups of the same announcement add that rules, the scaling path and reward eligibility stay as they are.
- Traders whose PRIME account is breached: they can go "straight back to evals" with no cooldown. PRIME's help-center rules had a 21-day cooldown after the last PRIME account was breached.
- Everyone else: "business as usual." The evaluations and Master Accounts are not changing in this announcement.
So PRIME is closed to new entrants, not shut for those already on it.
What PRIME was
From FundingPips' Prime Account help page (opens in new tab) (read 28 October):
- Entry: by FundingPips invitation, based on trading performance. The profit after the reward split was multiplied by 12.5 to set the PRIME account size, so $8,000 became a $100,000 account.
- Rewards: requested daily at an 80% split.
- Risk: 3% soft daily loss limit and an 8% static max loss on accounts invited from 28 September (older PRIME accounts use the legacy rules (opens in new tab), with a 2% daily pause and an 8% trailing limit).
- Scaling: +10% per level up to $2M per account, with traders at $2M listed on an investor marketplace FundingPips names, earning a 20% share on investor capital.
- Extras: onboarding call, weekly 1:1 coaching, WhatsApp support, news trading and weekend holding allowed.
- Opening a PRIME account closed all of the trader's Evaluation and Master Accounts.
How big it got
FundingPips put PRIME's whole run at 400 traders, 900+ reward requests, $1.1M+ paid and 223 scale-ups. By our arithmetic, that is roughly $2,750 per PRIME trader and about $1,200 per request on average. Those are FundingPips' own figures, not audited numbers.
What to watch
The help center has not caught up. As of 28 October the Prime Account page still describes how invitations work and the 21-day cooldown, and was last edited on 30 September. The X thread is the newer statement. If you are on PRIME and get breached, keep a record of the announcement.
The $2M ceiling ran through PRIME. New FundingPips traders now top out on the Master Account's own terms. Check the current model pages before you buy if scaling matters to you.
Something may replace it. The thread ends with "heard rumours HOT SEAT will be coming back." FundingPips has not published what that is or when. Treat it as a teaser until terms appear.
Bottom line
PRIME is gone for new traders, and existing PRIME traders keep their accounts and terms. By FundingPips' own count, the program paid out a little over $1.1M across 400 traders before it closed. For most FundingPips traders nothing changes today. The open question is what, if anything, replaces it.
