Regulation

Rules that apply in the United Kingdom

Searches for “prop firm” in the United Kingdom were 1,900 a month in June 2026 (propfirmapp.com/statistics (opens in new tab)).

The FCA does not authorise prop-challenge products, so a challenge fee is not covered by the FSCS or the Financial Ombudsman Service. The FCA has warned about an unauthorised firm using the name “Funded Trader” and points consumers to its Warning List (FCA warning (opens in new tab)). That warning is about the clone named in the notice. It is not a label on the firms in the table below.

This is not legal, tax, or investment advice. Confirm the firm's current country rules and your own obligations before you pay a fee.

Payments

Paying for a challenge and getting paid

Payment routes described for UK traders include card payments for the fee, and payouts by bank transfer (including Faster Payments via Rise or Wise) or crypto, depending on the firm. Our records do not store a payout method, so none is shown per firm.

FundingPips reported $582,306 of September 2026 rewards to the UK, third among the countries it published (joinprop.com (opens in new tab)). Goat Funded Trader’s cumulative table shows the UK at $1.21 million (forexpropreviews.com (opens in new tab)). Both are firm-reported and unaudited.

Markets

Forex and futures

The UK shows up in both futures and forex traffic. In that same September 2026 Semrush top-five sample, UK visits were about 1.22 million across the futures firms and about 1.60 million across the forex and CFD firms (Semrush overview pattern (opens in new tab)). This page includes a confirmed firm whether it offers futures, forex, or both. The markets column is whatever our record says, and a blank means that market is not recorded.

How a firm qualifies

A firm is listed as accepting the United Kingdom only when it is active, it sells a retail evaluation, instant-funding, or first-loss program, and a verified availability record covers the country: worldwide availability that does not name the United Kingdom, or a country list that does. Verified means the record has a verification time and at least one source link. A country missing from an unverified list is not acceptance. Firms we have not verified are counted above and left off both lists. That count is not a rejection. A firm is named as not accepting UK traders only when the restriction itself is verified. Order is trader rating, the same order as the rest of ProprietaryTrading.com. Affiliate links, discounts, and featured placement do not change who is listed or the order. Profit split and the cheapest entry fee come from verified program tiers when we have them. We do not drop a verified record because of its age. The date is on the row, in Eastern Time. We do not store a payout-method field, so payout rails are described for the country and not assigned to a firm.

Questions

Common questions

Which prop firms accept traders from the United Kingdom?
