Prop Firms That Allow News Trading
155 firms match this criteria
News trading is one of the most commonly restricted activities in prop firm rulebooks. Many firms ban opening or holding positions across major economic releases — FOMC, CPI, NFP, ECB — because the volatility can blow through drawdown limits in seconds.
A smaller set of firms permit it, either freely or under specific conditions (e.g. no orders within X minutes of a release). If your strategy depends on macro releases, this restriction is a hard filter — a firm that bans news trading is not a firm you can use.
The firms below permit news trading. Always confirm the specific windows and instruments before assuming a green light — some firms permit it on futures but not FX, or on some products but not the S&P.
