Overview

What this firm is and who it serves

Vest Capital is the prop trading program of Vest Markets, a perpetual-futures platform built by New York-based Vest Labs. Traders buy a one-time evaluation or an instant account and trade USDC-margined perpetuals on hundreds of NYSE and Nasdaq stocks, index perps such as ES and NQ, crypto, commodities and FX, with up to 50x leverage on funded accounts. The evaluation path comes in three tiers, Silver ($5,000), Gold ($10,000) and Platinum ($25,000). A 1-Step account is configured at checkout from a 10% or 20% profit target, a 3%, 4% or no daily loss limit, and an 80/20 or 90/10 split, giving 36 priced combinations from $25 to $450. A fixed 2-Step account (10% then 5%, 3% daily loss, 80/20) costs $15, $35 or $90. Every evaluation account has a static 6% max drawdown that never trails. Instant Accounts skip the evaluation: the one-time payment ($10, $200, $400 or $1,000) equals the static max drawdown on a $500, $5K, $10K or $25K account, with a flat 95% split and no daily loss limit. There is no time limit, and funded profit can be claimed at any time, credited as USDC within 24 hours. Vest's docs describe live funded accounts as "real Vest capital, not simulated." Its Prop Terms of Service (updated 28 September 2026) describe the program as "a simulated proprietary trading program" run by Vest Exchange Inc., a Panama corporation: users do not execute live trades, balances are notional, payouts are program compensation rather than a share of live-trade profit, and Vest may trade or hedge on traders' ideas with its own capital. In October 2026 Fortune reported a $13 million seed round led by Portal Ventures.

  • −Instant drawdown is only 2–4% of capital
  • −Breaching max drawdown or daily loss closes the account permanently with no grace period
  • −Payouts arrive as USDC on the platform, then need a separate on-chain withdrawal
  • −US eligibility unclear: prop terms do not exclude the US but the main Vest Markets terms do
  • −Single-account policy
