MFFU's redesigned Pro plan starts new live accounts at $0 and holds Sim Funded profit in a Reserve that pays out as a bonus or covers live losses, with a 21-day cooldown after a live breach. Existing Pro accounts keep the old rules.

What happened

My Funded Futures (MFFU) has published a guide to its redesigned Pro plan on its help center, which appeared on 15 October 2026. The firm's Pro plan page, whose comparison table is dated 14 October 2026, describes the same new route to live capital.

The biggest change is what happens when a Pro trader moves to a live account. Live accounts now start at a $0 balance, and the trader's Sim Funded profit is held by MFFU in a Reserve while they trade live. The Reserve is either paid out as a bonus or used to cover live losses.

Existing Pro accounts are not affected. MFFU says accounts on the old Pro products keep every old rule.

Pro plan terms at a glance (per MFFU, checked 15 October 2026)

Pro 50KPro 100KPro 150K

Minimum trading days (evaluation)222
Payout buffer$2,100$3,100$4,600
Profit split (Sim Funded)80/2080/2080/20
  • Payouts: available 14 calendar days from the first trade, once the buffer is cleared. The plan page lists a $1,000 minimum request and no daily loss limit or consistency rule once funded.
  • Drawdown lock: after the first payout, the max loss limit moves to the starting balance plus $100 (for example $50,100 on the 50K) and stays static.
  • News trading: the plan page lists Tier 1 news trading as allowed in the evaluation but not allowed in Sim Funded.
  • Pro 50K One Day follows the same rules as the Pro 50K, with a $4,000 target and a one-day minimum.

How a trader gets reviewed for live

Per the help-center guide, a Pro account is reviewed for a live transition after any of these:

  1. Three consecutive payouts on the same Pro account.
  2. Reaching the $100,000 payout cap. The guide says profits above $100,000 are forfeited.
  3. An invitation from MFFU's risk management team, at any time.
  4. Reaching $20,000 in profit, which triggers a review only and does not guarantee a move to live.

The plan page names Blue Row Capital as the live brokerage and lists an 80/20 live profit split. A live account starts at $0 and can go negative down to the plan's max loss limit (for example −$4,500 on the 150K). The plan page says up to $5,000 of Sim Funded profit is held in the Reserve.

One discrepancy to note: the plan page's FAQ says profit above the $100,000 cap is moved to a live balance rather than paid out, while the help-center guide says it is forfeited. Traders close to the cap should confirm with MFFU.

How the Reserve ends

1. Performance Bonus. The trader receives what is left in the Reserve once both conditions are met:

Pro 50KPro 100KPro 150K
Profitable live trading days202020
Cumulative gross live payouts$10,000$20,000$30,000

If a trader moved more than one Pro account to live, the Reserves pay out as one bonus, and MFFU says the threshold rises with the number of accounts moved.

2. The live account hits its max loss limit. In that case:

  • The Reserve pays off the negative live balance.
  • Anything left goes back to the dormant Sim Funded account, which can only be withdrawn from, not traded.
  • Profit above the buffer is paid at 80/20.
  • The buffer itself is paid at 50% if the Sim Funded account was traded for fewer than 30 trading days, or 80% at 30 trading days or more.
  • The Sim Funded account then closes, and a 21-day cooldown starts. During it the trader cannot trade any Sim Funded account or buy new evaluations, resets or accounts.

MFFU's own example for a Pro 50K: the Reserve holds $5,000 and the live account closes at −$1,500. $1,500 covers the live loss and $3,500 returns to the dormant account. The first $2,100 is buffer, paid at 50% ($1,050) because the account was traded for fewer than 30 days, and the remaining $1,400 is paid at 80% ($1,120), for $2,170 in total.

What older Pro accounts keep

  • Old live accounts keep a static drawdown and the old unlock: 20 winning days at 4% of the starting balance plus 3 payouts.
  • Old Pro Sim Funded accounts do not go into a Reserve when the trader moves to live.

Also new: Studio #003

Separately, MFFU added Studio #003 to its limited Studio line effective 14 October 2026: a $5,000 account for $75 one-time, with a $500 profit target, a $250 static max loss limit, 5 micros (no minis), a $2,500 Sim Funded daily profit cap and a $100 minimum payout. Studio plans have a daily purchase cap and run on Hyperprop only. MFFU posted on X that Studio #003 sold out for the day on 14 October.

Why it matters for traders

  • Live no longer starts with a funded balance. Under the new Pro, sim profit sits in the Reserve as a cushion rather than becoming your starting live balance.
  • A live blow-up has a real cost. It can mean losing part of the buffer and a 21-day freeze on your other Sim Funded accounts and on new purchases.
  • The bonus takes two milestones. You need both 20 profitable live days and $10,000 to $30,000 of gross live payouts before the Reserve is released.
  • Check which Pro you hold. Accounts bought on the old Pro products keep the old rules.

FAQ

Q: Does the redesign change my existing Pro account?
A: No. MFFU says accounts on the old Pro products keep every old rule.

Q: What balance does a new Pro live account start with?
A: $0. Sim Funded profit is held in the Reserve instead.

Q: What happens if my live account hits the max loss limit?
A: The Reserve covers the loss, the rest is paid out from the dormant Sim Funded account (buffer at 50% or 80%), and a 21-day cooldown follows.
