Breakout launched Spark, a capped $50K evaluation at $139 with one $3,000 target and a single $1,500 trailing max-loss limit—and the initial 1,500 seats have already sold out. The product uses Hyperliquid index products, not CME futures, and strips daily loss, min days, and consistency rules.

## What happened

**Breakout** has launched **Spark**, a capped **$50,000** evaluation product with a single **$3,000** profit target (6%) and a single **$1,500** trailing maximum-loss limit (3%), priced at **$139** one-time with **no activation fee**.

The firm's own [Spark product page](https://www.breakoutprop.com/products/spark/) and homepage list Spark as a separate line from Classic, Pro, and Turbo. [JoinProp](https://joinprop.com/prop-news/breakout-launches-spark-at-139-with-one-target-one-risk-limit-and-a-cap-of-1500-accounts/) reported the launch on **29 September 2026**, noting Breakout emailed on **28 September** that the launch had slipped by a day, then confirmed Spark live on the 29th.

Breakout is listed as an **active** firm in the [ProprietaryTrading.com directory](https://proprietarytrading.com/firms/breakout).

As of our check on **30 September 2026**, Breakout's Spark page states the **initial 1,500 evaluations have sold out** and Spark is **closed for now**, with a waitlist for any future release.

## What Spark is — and is not

Per Breakout's Spark FAQ and product page:

* **One size:** $50,000 only * **Pass condition:** $3,000 closed profit without breaching the $1,500 trailing max loss * **No second phase;** funded trading begins automatically on pass * **Removed (Spark only):** daily loss limit, minimum trading days, consistency rule, qualifying-day rule, news blackouts, forced end-of-day close, activation fee * **Standard split:** 80/20; optional 90/10 upgrade at checkout (upgrade price not published on the page we reviewed) * **Payouts:** access from day one of funded trading; $50 minimum after split; no buffer/cap/consistency gate stated; day-one eligibility is **not** a same-day processing promise

**Not CME futures.** Breakout states Spark uses **Hyperliquid index products** sized for comparison to instruments such as NQ/ES, not CME contracts, and that the comparison does not imply CME execution, identical margin, or identical costs. Leverage is listed up to **40x** on named index products and **20x** on commodities, with an aggregate notional ceiling of **$2,000,000** per trader (subject to periodic review).

## How the $1,500 trailing limit works

Breakout's FAQ is unusually specific:

* Floor sits **$1,500 below the highest closed balance** ever reached * Recalculated once daily at **00:30 UTC** from closed balance * **Continues trailing after funding** (does not lock at breakeven or starting balance) * Enforced against **equity**, so open P&L can contribute to a breach even though open profit does not lift the high-water mark * Breach forfeits the account; **no reset**; another attempt requires a new purchase while Spark is available

That permanent trailing floor is the trade-off for stripping the behavioural rules most evaluations use to slow passers down.

## Cap and sell-out

Breakout framed the first release as an **experiment limited to 1,500 evaluations**. Once those sold, the firm says Spark is no longer available to purchase. It has not published on the Spark page whether (or on what terms) Spark returns after this pilot.

For traders who missed the window: Breakout is collecting waitlist emails on the Spark page. Classic, Pro, and Turbo evaluations remain listed separately and are unchanged per the firm's own wording.

## What to watch next

1. Whether Breakout reopens Spark (same terms, tighter rules, or different price) 2. Whether payout processing times or funded-stage economics are disclosed after the pilot cohort 3. Whether other firms copy the one-target plus permanent trailing floor package 4. How traders size Hyperliquid index products versus the CME-equivalent framing in marketing

## FAQ

**Q: When did Spark go live?** A: Breakout confirmed Spark live on **29 September 2026** after a one-day slip email on the 28th (per JoinProp). The product page was live with full FAQ detail when JoinProp checked it; we re-checked the firm page on **30 September 2026**.

**Q: Can I still buy Spark?** A: As of **30 September 2026**, Breakout's Spark page says the **1,500-unit initial release has sold out** and Spark is closed for now. Use the firm's waitlist if you want notice of a possible return.

**Q: Is Spark a futures prop account?** A: No. Breakout states it is **not** CME futures; it uses Hyperliquid index/commodity products with notional sizing that can be compared to NQ/ES-style exposure.

**Q: What rules apply after funding?** A: Same $50,000 size, same $1,500 trailing max loss (still trailing for the life of the account), same leverage limits, no activation fee. Standard split 80/20 unless the 90/10 upgrade was purchased at checkout.

**Q: Does ProprietaryTrading.com partner with Breakout on Spark?** A: This article is editorial coverage of a public product launch. It is **not** an affiliate offer and does not imply partner savings, a promo code, or tracked referral status.
