Options Prop Firms

Options is the least-covered asset class in the retail prop firm industry. Most evaluation firms are built around futures and equities; a much smaller set support listed options at all, and fewer still are designed for options-first strategies (defined-risk spreads, income strategies, volatility trading).

It is, however, the deepest asset class on the professional side. Much of serious options trading happens at proprietary desks and market makers that hire traders rather than sell them accounts — so this page includes both, clearly labeled.

If you're an options trader, the firm's rulebook matters even more than usual — margin treatment, assignment rules, overnight holding, and event exposure all diverge sharply between firms. Confirm the specific products and restrictions before applying.
