What happened

Hantec Trader, the prop trading business of the Hantec group, now trades as RZR Funded. FX News Group says the switch took effect on Monday, 19 October 2026 (FX News Group). The firm posted the announcement on its Prop Firm Match page on 18 October (Prop Firm Match announcements).

This is more than a new logo. According to Finance Magnates, the company behind the prop business also changed its name, from Hantec Trader Limited to RZR Funded Limited. The firm still describes itself as "powered by Hantec Markets Mauritius," the group's retail broker regulated by Mauritius's Financial Services Commission.

The old address hantectrader.com now redirects to rzrfunded.com, and the trader dashboard is at dashboard.rzrfunded.com. RZR Funded is listed in the ProprietaryTrading.com directory.

What the firm says changes, and what doesn't

On its rebrand page, RZR Funded says the new name gives the business "a distinct identity" while it expands its leadership team and prepares "new products, markets and trading tools." FX News Group reports that the first of several new launches is due "within weeks." Director Bashaar Gokal stays in charge.

What does not change: the firm says all in-progress challenges and funded accounts continue with the same logins, balances and progress. Rules, profit targets, drawdown limits, profit splits, spreads and payout schedules stay the same. Traders do not need to open new accounts or sign new terms. "Nothing changes for anyone trading with us today," Gokal said, as quoted by FX News Group.

Who you are now dealing with

The rebrand also makes the corporate setup easier to see. The site footer, checked on 19 October, lists:

  • RZR Funded Limited companies incorporated in Saint Lucia (No. 2026-00682) and Mauritius (No. C191400).
  • HM Provider Limited, a UK company in the Hantec group (No. 14429485), which "provides support services for transactions."
  • A statement that RZR Funded and Hantec Markets Limited are "two entirely separate entities."

The same footer says RZR Funded runs simulated accounts with virtual funds, does not carry out regulated activities and does not take deposits. As a result, customers "do not benefit from regulatory protections" such as an ombudsman or compensation scheme (RZR Funded Terms & Conditions). The broker connection is real, but the prop accounts are not broker accounts.

Eligibility

  • US residents and citizens can't sign up. The footer and terms say RZR Funded "does not offer its services to U.S. residents or citizens."
  • Instant programs are closed to residents of the UK, Mauritius, Hong Kong and Singapore.

The firm also sells a higher-priced Instant Funding account. The default reward share is 80%, and 95% costs extra as an add-on. Standard payouts come every 14 days, or 7 days with an add-on. Funded accounts have a 3% maximum open risk and can't trade 3 minutes before or after red-folder news unless you buy the news add-on. Under the firm's "24-hour reward guarantee," it approves a payout request within 24 business hours or doubles the reward, up to $1,000.

What traders should do

If you already trade with Hantec Trader: you don't need to do anything. Log in at dashboard.rzrfunded.com, update your bookmarks, and keep records of your account numbers and payout history.

Watch for fake sites: rebrands attract lookalike domains and fake "account migration" emails. Use only links from rzrfunded.com or the firm's verified social accounts, and never enter your login on a site you reached from an unsolicited message.

If you're new to the firm: read the terms for the RZR Funded Limited entity you're buying from. Note that the firm describes itself as unregulated and not a deposit-taker, even though a broker backs it.

If you're in the US: this firm is not open to you.

For new products: RZR Funded says new launches are coming within weeks. Treat each one as a new set of rules and check the help center before you buy.

The bigger picture

Brokers have been launching prop arms to steer funded traders toward live brokerage accounts. Finance Magnates notes that Hantec started Hantec Trader with that plan in mind. Not every broker has made it work: the outlet points out that ATFX halted its own prop unit this year. Hantec is going the other way. It is giving the prop business a separate brand and company name while keeping Hantec Markets Mauritius as the broker behind it. RZR Funded's new About page calls the firm "a standalone prop firm." Its footer still says "broker-backed prop trading." The products it launches next will show which side wins out.
