FundedNext Cuts Stellar Lite Minimum Trading Days to 2 and Moves Standard Payouts to a 10-Day Cycle

From 12 October, new and reset Stellar Lite accounts on the Standard payout option need just 2 trading days per phase and can take a first payout after 10 business days instead of 21 days. The 3-Day and On-Demand options keep 5 days, and some FundedNext pages still show the old rules.
What happened
FundedNext has loosened two clocks on its Stellar Lite two-phase CFD challenge. For accounts purchased or reset on or after 12 October 2026, the Stellar Lite Account help article (updated 13 October) now says:
- Minimum trading days fall from 5 to 2 per phase. You need trades on at least 2 separate calendar days in Phase 1 and again in Phase 2, with at least one trade per day. The days do not have to be consecutive.
- The Standard payout cycle is now 10 business days. The first Performance Reward can be requested 10 business days after activation, and every 10 business days after that, at an 80% reward share. Before the change it was a 21-day first cycle, then 14 days.
Everything else on the challenge is unchanged: an 8% Phase 1 target, a 4% Phase 2 target, a 4% daily loss limit, an 8% maximum loss limit, no time limit, and the 30% Quick Strike cap on profit from trades closed within 30 seconds.
Who gets the new rules
Only Standard accounts. FundedNext's help article says the 3-Day Performance Reward (60% share) and On-Demand Performance Reward (90% share) options keep 5 minimum trading days per phase for all accounts. The Stellar Lite product page says the same: 2 days per phase for Standard, while On-Demand "stays at 5". The payout option is chosen at checkout and cannot be changed later.
Only new purchases and resets. Accounts bought or reset before 12 October keep the old terms: 5 days per phase, a first payout after 21 days, then every 14 days. Because the help article ties the new rules to the reset date too, a trader still in the challenge stage on an old account would appear to move onto them with a reset. FundedNext has not said that in so many words, so confirm it with support before paying a reset fee. Resets are not available once you hold a FundedNext Account.
The catches
The payout gain is mostly the first one. Ten business days is two calendar weeks, so after the first reward the new cadence is roughly the same as the old 14-day cycle. The real change is the first payout: about two weeks after activation instead of 21 days.
Two days is a floor, not a fast pass. You still have to hit 8% and then 4% without breaching a 4% daily limit. Once you pass, the next phase is issued after that trading day ends, and the funded account waits on KYC (FundedNext estimates about 48 hours) and a risk review.
FundedNext's own pages disagree. As of 14 October, the FAQ answers on the Stellar Lite product page still say 5 trading days per phase, and an older help article, What Is the Trading Cycle Count in My Stellar Lite FundedNext Account?, still describes the 21-day and 14-day cycles. The updated Stellar Lite Account article and the minimum trading days article carry the new dates. Screenshot the terms at checkout.
The funded-stage rules still bite. On the FundedNext Account there is a 3% maximum open-risk rule, and trades within 5 minutes either side of high-impact news on a correlated pair only count 40% of their profit. The challenge fee comes back with your third Performance Reward, not the first.
Bottom line
For Standard Stellar Lite buyers this is a real, if modest, improvement: fewer forced trading days and a first payout about a week sooner. It does not touch the targets or loss limits, and it does not apply to the 60% and 90% payout options. We first covered Stellar's three checkout payout options on 16 September.
