E8 Markets is pulling its one-step Signature challenge from Classic Markets (forex and CFDs) on Tuesday, 20 October 2026. Signature Futures stays on sale, and E8 says a new forex product is in the works.

What happened

E8 Markets is retiring E8 Signature for Classic Markets, the forex and CFD version of its cheapest one-step challenge, effective Tuesday, 20 October 2026. E8 Signature Futures is not affected and stays on sale.

E8's own X account called it a "last call on Signature FX" on 16 October 2026, with a closing sale of 50% off that it said "ends Tuesday 20th, midnight UTC" (E8 Markets on X). The firm's announcement explaining the change was reported by TheGodFunded on 17 October 2026.

E8 Markets is listed as an active firm in the ProprietaryTrading.com directory.

Why E8 says it is doing this

According to the announcement as reported:

  • Running one rulebook across futures and Classic Markets stopped making sense, because the two markets differ in trading hours, contract structure and position management.
  • E8 says its internal data shows most Classic Markets traders had already moved to other E8 products.
  • Dropping the forex version frees up resources, and E8 says it plans to build a new product designed specifically for Classic Markets traders. No name, rules or date have been given.

What Signature for Classic Markets looked like

The shared E8 Signature help article (checked 18 October 2026) still lists "Classic Markets, Futures" as available markets, so it had not been updated for the retirement when we checked. The rules it describes, which apply to both markets unless noted:

  • One-step SimFi Challenge with a 6% profit target and no time limit (at least one trade every 60 days)
  • End-of-day dynamic drawdown that locks at the starting balance
  • 2% daily pause in the funded stage, which stops trading for the day without breaching the account
  • 80% profit split, 35% best-day rule, $100 minimum payout, and 5 profitable days between payouts after the first
  • Classic Markets leverage of 1:30 on forex and 1:15 on indices and metals
  • News trading allowed

What traders should do

If you trade forex with E8 on Signature: E8's statements that we reviewed do not say how accounts that are already active will be handled after 20 October. Ask E8 support before you assume anything about resets, free retries after a final payout, or new purchases at the same size.

If you are thinking about the last-call sale: E8 is still selling Signature FX until the deadline. Get written confirmation of what happens to an unused or in-progress account after retirement before you buy several at once.

If you trade futures: nothing changes from this announcement. Signature Futures keeps its own recent changes, including the cut from five to four lifetime payouts for accounts bought after 1 October 2026.

The bigger picture

E8 is now splitting its lineup by market instead of selling one model across every asset class, which is the reason it gave for this change. For forex traders, E8's homepage still features E8 One as its one-phase account. Until E8 publishes the replacement product, Signature FX buyers are on a product with an announced end date.
