Blue Guardian Futures’ help center now documents a single Live Account at promotion: eligible funded seats merge, Live drawdowns pool (capped at $15,000 for purchases after 28 September 2026), with a one-time 50% Live Buyout option and a milestone Live Bonus.

## What happened

**Blue Guardian Futures** has published a detailed **Live Account** rulebook that consolidates how traders move from funded seats into live capital. When the Risk Team approves a Live promotion, **eligible funded accounts merge into one Live Account**, and each seat’s **Live Drawdown is added together** — with a **$15,000 combined maximum** for accounts purchased **after 28 September 2026**.

The firm’s primary documentation is the help article [What is the Blue Guardian Futures Live Account?](https://helpfutures.blueguardian.com/en/articles/15679961-what-is-the-blue-guardian-futures-live-account) (updated as of our 1 October 2026 check). [JoinProp](https://joinprop.com/prop-news/blue-guardian-futures-merges-funded-accounts-into-one-live-seat-from-september-28-and-caps-the-combined-drawdown-at-15000/) covered the structural change on **28 September 2026**.

Blue Guardian is listed as an **active** firm in the [ProprietaryTrading.com directory](https://proprietarytrading.com/firms/blue-guardian).

## How the merge works

Per Blue Guardian Futures’ help center:

* Live Accounts are **earned**, not purchased. Reaching **Payout 5** (or other listed performance paths) puts a trader into a **Live Review Pool**; promotion remains at Risk Team discretion. * On approval, **all eligible funded accounts** that have received **at least one successful payout** automatically transition into **one** Live Account. * The Live Account starts at **$0** balance with a **combined Live Drawdown** equal to the sum of each eligible seat’s contribution. * Example from the firm: five $50K funded accounts, each contributing $2,000 Live Drawdown → **$10,000** combined drawdown on a single Live seat. * **Maximum Live Account balance / combined drawdown: $15,000** for purchases after **28/09/26**.

Published Live Drawdown contributions by funded size:

Funded sizeLive Drawdown contributed
$25,000$1,000
$50,000$2,000
$100,000$3,000
$150,000$4,500

Contract size scales with the pooled drawdown, up to **10 minis / 100 micros** in the top band ($9,500–$15,000 combined).

## Live Buyout and Live Bonus

Two cash-adjacent features sit beside the seat:

**Live Buyout.** At the moment of Live transition only, a trader may take a **one-time cash payout equal to 50% of the combined starting Live Drawdown** instead of trading Live. On the five-account / $10,000 example, that is **$5,000**. It is available **once per trader**, then a **28-day cooldown** applies before a new evaluation purchase.

**Live Bonus (first Live transition only).** At cumulative net-profit milestones of **0.5×, 1×, and 1.5×** starting combined Live Drawdown, the firm deposits **25% of that starting drawdown** into the Live balance as trading capital. Those bonus deposits become withdrawable only after **five winning days** (net profit of at least **1%** of starting combined Live Drawdown, minimum **$100**, with the account in profit). Profit withdrawals still draw from trading profits first.

## Live rules (as published)

Once Live:

* **90% / 10%** profit split * **Daily** payouts, **no** payout caps stated * **End-of-day** drawdown; **no** daily loss limit; **no** consistency rule * **News trading** and **hedging** are not permitted * Evaluations still open when Live promotion hits are closed; funded seats with **zero** payouts do not merge (refund rules depend on remaining drawdown)

## Why it matters for traders

Stacking multiple funded futures accounts used to look like stacking **separate** Live risk pools. Under this published structure, stacking mainly **feeds one pool** — and that pool has a hard ceiling after the 28 September purchase cutoff. The buyout also puts an explicit cash floor under a Live call-up, which is uncommon and easy to compare across firms.

This is a **rules and product-structure** story from Blue Guardian’s own help center, not a closure or payout-freeze report.

## What to watch next

1. Whether dashboard / checkout copy matches the help-center cap and buyout numbers for new purchases 2. How often traders choose the Live Buyout versus trading the merged seat 3. Whether other futures props publish similarly explicit combined-drawdown caps and seat buyouts 4. Any change to eligibility (Payout 5 vs discretionary review) in practice

## FAQ

**Q: When did this structure take effect?** A: Blue Guardian’s help center ties the **$15,000** combined maximum to accounts purchased **after 28 September 2026**. JoinProp dated the structural change to that same day.

**Q: Do all my funded accounts merge?** A: Only **eligible** funded accounts that have received **at least one successful payout**, and only after Risk Team Live approval. Zero-payout funded seats and open evaluations follow separate close / refund rules in the help article.

**Q: Is this an affiliate or partner offer?** A: This article is editorial coverage of published firm rules. It is **not** an affiliate offer and does not imply partner savings, a promo code, or tracked referral status.
