Tradovate is a cloud-first futures platform that many prop firms have adopted as either the primary or exclusive routing option. It runs in the browser, supports mobile, and doesn't require the Rithmic/CQG data-feed lease that traditional desktop platforms depend on.
For newer futures firms and copy-trader-heavy firms, Tradovate is often the default. For traders coming from NinjaTrader or Sierra Chart, the workflow is meaningfully different — verify chart types, indicator support, and DOM behavior match how you actually trade.
