Lucid Trading Makes Its Live Bonus Repeatable and Adds a Pre-Live Step to LucidMaxx

Lucid Trading's live bonus is no longer one-time: hit the profit target plus 20 trading days and it pays again. Invite-only LucidMaxx adds a Pre-Live step, then starts live with a withdrawable balance and a static drawdown.
## What happened
**Lucid Trading** has changed how traders get paid once they reach live capital. On **5 October 2026** the futures firm published a [New Live Structure](https://support.lucidtrading.com/en/articles/16558826-new-live-structure) and a [New LucidMaxx Program](https://support.lucidtrading.com/en/articles/17327076-new-lucidmaxx-program) on its help center, and relabelled the earlier versions as **Legacy**. Two things moved: the live bonus is now **repeatable**, and the invite-only **LucidMaxx** path gains a second step before live.
## The live bonus: harder to hit once, but repeatable
Under Lucid's [Legacy Live Structure](https://support.lucidtrading.com/en/articles/13425130-legacy-live-structure), the bonus was a **one-time** payment. A trader on their first trip to live earned it by closing a session with live profit equal to the starting live drawdown plus $100. Traders moved live a second time, and LucidMaxx traders, were not eligible.
The new article replaces that with two conditions per account, and the bonus can be earned again each time both are met:
| Funded size | Live profit target | Trading days | Live bonus |
|---|---|---|---|
| $25K | $2,000 | 20 | $1,000 |
| $50K | $4,000 | 20 | $2,000 |
| $100K | $6,000 | 20 | $3,000 |
| $150K | $9,000 | 20 | $4,500 |
* A trading day counts when at least one trade is taken and the day nets at least +$1 or -$1 after fees * The bonus is paid out to the trader rather than added to the account, at a **90/10** split * Bonus amounts are unchanged from the old one-time version; the profit target is roughly double, and 20 trading days is new * Everything else in live stays as it was: **$0** starting balance, **end-of-day** drawdown ($1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500), daily payouts, no daily loss limit, and a max loss that locks at $100 once live profit equals the starting drawdown
## LucidMaxx: a Pre-Live step, then a funded starting balance
LucidMaxx remains **invite-only**. Lucid's risk team picks traders on performance, and there is still no public purchase. What changes is the route and the live account at the end of it.
**Step 1, evaluation.** Targets and drawdowns match the legacy table: $1,250 / $3,000 / $6,000 / $9,000 to make, $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500 end-of-day drawdown, and a **40% consistency** rule. Lucid now describes a "potential 3 day pass". The [legacy rules](https://support.lucidtrading.com/en/articles/14315460-legacy-lucidmaxx-eval-rules) required 5 trading days.
**Step 2, Pre-Live (new).** A second target of $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500 with the same end-of-day drawdown, **no consistency rule**, and Lucid's live scaling plan applied as practice for live.
**Live.** The Maxx live account now uses a **static** drawdown and starts with a **balance of $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500** that is withdrawable from day one, with the static max loss set at $100. Maxx traders can now also earn the repeatable live bonus. Lucid adds a **full cashout** option at 90/10 for Maxx traders who don't want to trade live capital yet.
**Cooldowns.** Breaching a Pre-Live account carries **no cooldown**. Blowing a live account or taking the full cashout still triggers the standard **2-week** cooldown. Up to 5 Maxx accounts can be held at once, but a new one can't be bought while the trader holds an active live account.
## Who it applies to
Lucid's help articles don't spell out a cutoff. Lucid's community announcement, as logged by [SpicyFutures](https://spicyfutures.com/prop-firm-rule-changes/), put the change at **5 PM ET on 5 October**, with LucidMaxx evaluations bought before then staying on the legacy structure. Traders already holding live or Maxx accounts should confirm which version covers them with Lucid support.
## Why it matters
Lucid is the second futures firm in about a week to rework what happens after a trader reaches live, after **Blue Guardian Futures** merged eligible funded accounts into a single Live seat. Lucid's version changes the reward rather than the account. For a standard trader, the first bonus now takes more profit and a month of trading, but a trader who stays consistent can collect it again. For Maxx traders, the bigger change is starting live with a withdrawable balance and a static drawdown instead of $0 and an end-of-day one.
## What this article is not claiming
* We are **not** asserting partner or affiliate status, or offering any promo code. * We are **not** quoting new LucidMaxx prices, because Lucid's help center did not list them when we checked on **6 October 2026**. * We are **not** predicting how many traders will qualify for LucidMaxx or earn a repeat bonus.
## FAQ
**Q: Is the live bonus bigger now?** A: No. The amounts are the same ($1,000 to $4,500 by size). The target is higher and adds 20 trading days, but the bonus can now be earned more than once.
**Q: Can traders who were moved live before earn it?** A: The legacy rules barred traders moved live two or more times. The new article says the repeatable bonus may be earned on all accounts moved live once 20 trading days are complete, and it doesn't repeat that exclusion. Check with Lucid for your own accounts.
**Q: Can I buy LucidMaxx?** A: Not on your own. It is still invite-only, based on Lucid's review of your trading.
**Q: Does a failed Pre-Live account lock me out?** A: No. Lucid lists no cooldown for a Pre-Live breach.
