Funded Futures Network Makes Its Evaluation Optional: Skip the Eval Costs $475 at 50K, and Promo Codes Don't Apply

Funded Futures Network now sells Skip the Eval on Steady and Max accounts from 25K to 250K, putting traders straight into sim funded with the same funded rules. At 50K it costs $475 (MAX) or $499 (STEADY), discount codes don't apply, and the payout split, consistency rule and sim-to-live terms are unchanged.
What happened
Funded Futures Network (FFN) has put its evaluation on a toggle. At checkout, after you pick a size and platform, the firm asks whether you want to be eligible for a first payout in 3 days instead of 8 (MAX Standard) or 5 days instead of 7 (STEADY). Beneath that sit two priced routes: Evaluation and Skip the Eval.
On FFN's own X account (5 October 2026), the firm said: "The eval is now optional," that Skip the Eval works on any Steady or Max account from 25K to 250K, that you "go straight into sim live from day one," and that you keep the funded rules for your account type. A follow-up the same day added that Skip the Eval is not part of any sale, and promo codes do not apply to the add-on. On 8 October FFN again posted that the route is live on Steady and Max. JoinProp reports that FFN also emailed its list on 7 October under the subject line "The eval stage is now optional."
We checked the live site and checkout on 8 October 2026. With a MAX Standard 50K selected and a 50% referral code applied, the selector showed Evaluation $89 next to Skip the Eval $475. Selecting Skip the Eval switched the panel to a flat $475, with the line: "Your account starts in the funded phase. Discount codes and promotions do not apply." The checkout URL carried s2f=1 (skip-to-funded) and the order summary matched: MAX Standard 50K · Skip the Eval · $475 total. The same path for STEADY 50K priced Skip the Eval at $499.
What it costs (checked 8 October)
List and discounted evaluation prices come from FFN's homepage account selector. Skip the Eval prices come from the same page's product data and from the live checkout with s2f=1. Discount codes do not cut the skip price.
| Size | MAX Standard eval (list / with 50% off) | MAX Skip the Eval | STEADY eval (list) | STEADY Skip the Eval |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $148 / $74 | $279 | $149 | $299 |
| 50K | $178 / $89 | $475 | $229 | $499 |
| 100K | $348 / $174 | $850 | $308 | $900 |
| 150K | $408 / $204 | $1,275 | $585 | $1,350 |
| 250K | $658 / $329 | $2,550 | $750 | $2,700 |
At 50K MAX with the current 50% banner, five evaluation attempts cost less than one Skip the Eval purchase ($445 vs $475). The firm still frames the skip as buying earlier payout eligibility, not a different rule set.
The catches
You are buying time and certainty, not better terms. FFN's own post says you keep the funded rules for that account type. On MAX Standard that still means an 80% sim-funded split, a 40% consistency rule, a buffer equal to the drawdown, a $500 minimum payout, and the published per-account payout caps. Skip the Eval removes the evaluation filter; it does not raise the split or drop the consistency math.
Promo codes stop at the evaluation route. With a 50% code applied, Evaluation fell to $89 on a 50K MAX while Skip stayed at $475. FFN stated that explicitly on X. Anyone comparing "five times the eval price" should use the discounted eval figure only while that sale runs, and should expect the ratio to shrink if the banner expires.
Sim funded is still simulated. The checkout copy says the account "starts in the funded phase." FFN's help center still distinguishes sim-funded from live-funded: live access is a risk-manager decision after five consecutive payouts, live accounts purchased after 1 July 2026 open at size plus buffer (sim profits are forfeited on the move), and "same-day" marketing language on the homepage sits next to a firm that, on 24 September, told traders it had a payout backlog. That backlog update has not been replaced by a public clear-by date. Paying to skip the eval does not change that operational context.
The BOGO is a separate clock. FFN's homepage still advertises "two accounts for half the price of one" on Steady or Max at 50% off, with one free account active at a time, ending 31 October. Skip the Eval is excluded from that sale. Whether a Skip purchase qualifies for a free second evaluation is not published on the checkout we saw.
What it means for traders
Putting Evaluation and Skip the Eval side by side is a clear statement of how much FFN charges to remove its own filter. Instant funding is not new in prop; what is new here is the presentation inside the ordinary Steady/Max checkout, with an explicit "codes do not apply" line. For a trader who already passes MAX Standard targets reliably, $475 to save five winning days is optional insurance. For a trader buying certainty because they doubt they can pass, it is a high price for the same funded rules they would have earned by passing — and it still leaves them inside FFN's sim-funded payout structure. Compare the Funded Futures Network directory profile and our earlier piece on the PropEd acquisition and payout delays before you pay for either route.
What this article is not claiming
- We are not claiming partner or affiliate status. The 50% code visible on the live homepage during our check was a third-party referral code applied by the page, not a ProprietaryTrading.com offer.
- We are not saying the September payout backlog is cleared. FFN has not published a clear-by date or backlog size since its 24 September community message.
- We are not claiming Skip the Eval accounts use different drawdown, targets, or splits from accounts that arrived by passing. FFN's published statement is that funded rules for the account type are kept.
FAQ
Q: Does Skip the Eval put me on a live brokerage account?
A: No. FFN's own language is "sim live from day one" / "starts in the funded phase." Live-funded access remains a separate step under FFN's published sim-vs-live rules.
Q: Can I use the 50% or BOGO promo on Skip the Eval?
A: FFN says promo codes do not apply to the add-on, and the checkout we checked on 8 October showed $475 / $499 with no discount line. The BOGO banner ends 31 October and is described for Steady/Max purchases at 50% off, not for Skip.
Q: Is the price the same at every size?
A: No. Skip the Eval has its own price per size and plan. At 50K it was $475 (MAX) and $499 (STEADY) on our 8 October checkout check.
Q: When did this go live?
A: FFN posted the product on X on 5 October 2026, emailed its list on 7 October per JoinProp, and reposted that it is live on Steady and Max on 8 October. We verified the live checkout the same day.
